King Hafez Abdullah Al Mamun of Saudi Arabia has won the first place in the King Abdul Aziz Al Saud International Hifzul Quran Competition, beating the competitors from 63 countries. Sheikh Saleh Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs of Saudi Arabia, presented the award to Mamun.

The prize was announced on October 11 in the competition of teenage Hafez from 63 countries of the world.
The names of the three best winners from the four categories were announced. Hafez Abdullah Al Mamun has won the first place in the second category. Mamun has been given a crest and 1 lakh 20 thousand riyals as a reward. Mamun has made Bangladesh bright in the world court.

Hafez Mamun is a student of Tahfizul Quran Wassunnah Madrasa in Jatrabari, Dhaka, founded by Hafeez Qari Nazmul Hasan, an international award winner. Abdullah Al Mamun went to Saudi Arabia with Ustad Hafez Kari Nazmul Hasan to take part in the International Quran Competition held in Saudi Arabia on October 3. He has already won first place in various competitions at home and abroad.

Hafez Abdullah Al Mamun was born in Hirakanda village of Muradnagar upazila of Comilla.

Father’s name is Abul Bashar. Earlier, he represented Bangladesh in the 24th International Hifzul Quran Competition held in Cairo, Egypt with the participation of 55 countries. Hafez Mamun also won second place in the 20th International Quran Competition held in Dubai in 2016 and first place in the International Hifzul Quran Competition held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in July 2014.
